“Tell me what you eat, and I will tell you what you are.”

– Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (gastronome)

Happy Easter everyone! In honor of the family dinner tables you will be surrounding today, I give you this tasty little quote…

“Eating well is not as much about good food as it is about the people you share that food with, the room you dine in, what you talk about and the emotional hungers that you bring to the table.”

~Amanda Hesser (food writer – “Cooking for Mr. Latte”)

Enjoy those chocolate bunnies and technicolor eggs kids! I’m off to my Aunt Laura’s where I will stuff myself into a food coma by way of Grandma Lulu’s eggplant parmesan and a platter or two of antipasti.

Happy eating!

“Our three basic needs, for food and security and love, are so mixed and mingled and entwined that we cannot straightly think of one without the others.”

~ M.F.K. Fisher (food writer)
